About the role
About the job: Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop accurate 3D routing of electrical wire harnesses that are made in Zuken E3 Wire Harness software. 2. Create and maintain wiring schematics, harness layouts, and formboard drawings. 3. Ensure proper routing considering packaging constraints, bend radius, clearance, and protection requirements. 4. Integrate harness design with mechanical components and assemblies in CAD environments. 5. Select appropriate wires, connectors, terminals, and protective coverings based on project specifications. 6. Perform design validation, interference checks, and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards. 7. Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing documentation for harness production. 8. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues. 9. Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of wiring harness systems. 10. Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and project timelines throughout the design lifecycle.
