Job description The Role: Impact & Contribution Execute the company's hardware technology, R&D roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term product strategy Enables faster innovation and align with sales function by making accurate design and support development cycle Reduces technical and program risks by proactive problem identification approach Drives cost-effective and scalable hardware platforms, improving product lifecycle value Translates complex research concepts into robust, production-ready hardware solutions Introduces new technologies, tools, and methodologies that elevate the organizations R&D function Be a subject matter expert on hardware technology KEY ACCOUNTABILIT Lead hardware development from concept, feasibility, and design to validation and release Deliver high quality Gerber design, System diagrams, circuit diagrams, bread boards, prototypes through Reviews, Testing and Approvals. Ensure strong design practices for performance, reliability, safety, zero defect and compliance (Emi EMC) Accurate Defect Analysis in products and providing Permanent Corrective Solutions Mentoring engineering teams and partnering with cross-functional leaders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and manufacturable hardware solutions KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Lead technology roadmap,technology evaluation, and design standards Dive root-cause analysis,corrective actions, DFM/DFA and reliebility improvments for design Review and approve hardware designs including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection, DVPs Drive design reviews, validation, and qualification testing Support component selection and risk mitigation,cost, availability, and lifecycle optimization Provide hardware support during pilot and mass production Ensure complete and accurate hardware documentation Maintain design traceability and change control Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards Lead the design team to achieve Project milestones and their KRAs KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Functional PCB design, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, Behavioral: People Management Attention to details Understand Priorities and flexible Skill Advanced hardware design skills Prototyping, validation, and qualification testing Knowledge Knowledge of various tools Awareness of various regularity standards Quality standards Experience 12 to 15yrs
