Senior Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in building scalable systems and utilizing AI-powered development tools like Claude Code and Cursor to enhance efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop scalable backend services using Node.js - Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for improved performance and reliability - Create RESTful APIs and microservices - Collaborate with frontend (React) and product teams within a MERN stack environment - Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and security - Write clean, efficient, and reusable Node.js code - Enhance CI/CD pipelines and observability of backend systems - Utilize tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development processes - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members Qualifications Required: - 45 years of experience in backend development - Proficiency in Node.js and asynchronous programming - Strong knowledge of MongoDB performance optimization - Demonstrated experience in building scalable APIs for production use - Understanding of system design and basics of distributed systems - Familiarity with authentication methods like JWT and OAuth - Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor - Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities If you have a background in high-growth SaaS products, experience in performance optimization at scale, proficiency in Agile methodologies, understanding of caching technologies like Redis, queues, and event-driven architecture, as well as exposure to AI/NLP-based systems, we would like to discuss this opportunity further.
