SDE II Java (Gurugram)

Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Software Development Engineer with strong Java expertise and experience building scalable distributed systems. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend services powering consumer-facing applications used by millions of users. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs - Build stable, performant, and highly available distributed systems - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful solutions - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient production-grade code - Architect microservices-based applications with scalability and reliability in mind - Optimize databases, application performance, and system reliability - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design - Ensure software quality through best engineering practices - Analyze systems deeply across application, database, and infrastructure layers - Continuously experiment, innovate, and improve engineering processes Requirements - Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline - Strong coding skills in Java - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture - Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and PostgreSQL - Experience working with AWS cloud services - 2+ years of software development experience - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design - Experience building scalable, high-performance distributed systems - Strong API design and backend architecture skills - Ability to solve complex technical problems with pragmatic solutions - Robust ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment What Were Looking For - Strong problem-solving mindset - Passion for building scalable products - Ability to move fast and take ownership - Curiosity .
