Job Description IT Support Engineer Position: IT Support Engineer Department: Information Technology (IT) Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 6 Months 1 Year About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization. Educational Qualification Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) BCA or equivalent qualification Experience 6 Months to 1 Year of relevant experience in IT Support or Desktop Support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktop and laptop systems. Provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices. Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, Exchange Mail, and mobile email clients. Install, update, and monitor antivirus software, patch management, and backup solutions. Troubleshoot desktop, network, and hardware-related issues. Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity. Perform network cable crimping and basic network configuration. Support printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Assist in managing Active Directory user accounts, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support. Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets while maintaining high service standards. Technical Skills Installation, configuration, and administration of Windows desktop operating systems. Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Exchange Mail, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, and mobile email configuration. Experience with Antivirus, Patch Management, and Backup Solutions. Basic networking knowledge, including LAN setup, cable crimping, and network troubleshooting. Knowledge of printer installation, configuration, and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop, hardware, and network-related issues. Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Required Skills Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Quick learner with a positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
