Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Manual QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our customer-facing products through comprehensive manual testing. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver seamless user experiences. Responsibilities: Own end-to-end manual testing across all customer-facing web and mobile applications.Design, write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and regression test suites from scratch.Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.Validate application behaviour across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices.Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST API requests, responses, and status codes.Verify and validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.Track, document, and communicate bugs, risks, and quality metrics throughout the development lifecycle.Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and product quality standards. Bonus Responsibilities: Evaluate and test AI-powered features such as AI text assistants, voice bots, and agentic workflows.Create test scenarios for AI-driven user experiences and validate model outputs for accuracy and reliability. Requirements: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices.Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response validation.Hands-on experience writing SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
