About the role
As a PHP Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic web applications - Writing clean, well-structured, and reusable code following best practices - Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic - Designing and optimizing database schemas, queries, and APIs - Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing applications - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions - Staying updated with emerging web technologies and proposing improvements To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer - Strong expertise in the CodeIgniter framework - Solid understanding of PHP 7/8, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery - Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations - Familiarity with version control tools like Git - Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts - Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks, exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
