Job Title Digital Officer Material Flow System Job Summary The Digital Officer for Material Flow Systems is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing digital solutions that support the efficient movement of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process. The role focuses on improving material visibility, inventory accuracy, production efficiency, and data-driven decision-making through digital technologies and automation. Key Responsibilities Digital Material Flow Management Monitor and optimize material flow across manufacturing and operations. Support the implementation and maintenance of digital material tracking systems. Ensure real-time visibility of inventory, WIP, and material movements. Analyze material flow data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. System Administration & Support Manage material flow applications, dashboards, and reporting tools. Coordinate with IT teams to maintain system performance and data integrity. Support integration between ERP, MES, WMS, and production systems. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate corrective actions. Process Improvement Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Support Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Smart Factory initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Data Analytics & Reporting Generate reports and KPIs related to inventory, throughput, cycle time, and material availability. Analyze operational data and provide actionable recommendations. Develop dashboards and visual management tools. Monitor system performance and operational metrics. . Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Supply Chain Management Information Technology Computer Science Related field Experience 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or digital operations. Experience with ERP, MES, WMS, or material tracking systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory management. Technical Skills ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Data analysis using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau RFID, barcode, and IoT technologies Process mapping and workflow analysis Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts Soft Skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Project management capability Attention to detail Continuous improvement mindset Ability to work in cross-functional teams
