Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview: The Azure DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. They are responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our applications. This role is integral to our DevOps and software development lifecycle, impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our development teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform. Implement and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services. Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure and applications. Collaborate with development teams to optimize Azure cloud usage. Automate routine tasks through scripting and automation. Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained. Manage and configure Azure networking components. Participate in planning and executing disaster recovery procedures. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams. Document infrastructure and processes as part of knowledge sharing. Stay updated with Azure services and industry best practices. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400). 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. Knowledge of Azure networking and security best practices. Understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience with source control systems such as Git. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in Azure environment. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
