Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and assessment of structural components and systems. This role requires a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, research, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and Analysis: Perform structural design and analysis for various projects including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. ● Technical Expertise: Utilise advanced software tools for structural modelling, analysis, and design. ● Project Management: Manage and oversee structural aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. ● Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity of all proposed designs. ● Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, IS standards and earthquake zone regulations. ● Documentation: Prepare detailed structural calculations, engineering compliance reports, specifications, and drawings. ● Innovation: Continuously seek innovative solutions to improve structural design processes and outcomes. ● Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to structural design specifications. Qualifications: ● Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). ● Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in structural design engineering. ● Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred or eligibility to obtain. ● Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAADPro, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS). ● Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations. ● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders. ● Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
