MEP Engineer_High rise building for real estate group Tathawade (Pune)

Job Summary: Apply Pune candidates only We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer with expertise in Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems . The candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical Systems: Design, install, and maintain electrical distribution systems , including transformers, switchgears, panels, and lighting systems. Perform load calculations, circuit designs, and power distribution planning . Ensure compliance with IEC, IS codes, and local electrical regulations . Troubleshoot electrical faults, voltage fluctuations, and power failures . Oversee the installation and maintenance of UPS, backup power systems, and fire alarm systems . 2. Plumbing Systems: Design and oversee the installation of water supply, drainage, and wastewater management systems . Ensure proper selection and installation of pumps, storage tanks, valves, and piping . Implement rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and sustainable plumbing solutions . Conduct pressure tests and ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, and local plumbing regulations . 3. Fire Fighting Systems: Design, install, and maintain fire protection systems , including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, and suppression systems. Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, IS standards , and local fire safety regulations. Coordinate with fire safety authorities for inspections, approvals, and audits. Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend fireproofing and fire evacuation strategies . 4. MEP Coordination & Project Management: Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors for seamless MEP integration. Review and approve technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications . Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines . Monitor the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of all MEP systems. 5. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all MEP installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies . Prepare and maintain technical reports, compliance certificates, and maintenance logs . Conduct regular safety drills, inspections, and preventive maintenance .
