About the role
Role Overview We are hiring experienced Electrical Engineers to contribute to an AI engineering project by creating, solving, and reviewing simulation-based electrical engineering tasks used to train advanced AI models. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in electrical design, modeling, simulation, and validation , with expertise in areas such as power systems, power electronics, control systems, electrical machines, circuit design, or instrumentation . Key Responsibilities Develop electrical engineering problem statements, simulation models, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform electrical system modeling, simulation, and analytical validation. Review engineering solutions for technical accuracy, completeness, and reproducibility. Optimize designs and document engineering assumptions, methodologies, and results. Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to improve simulation quality. Key Requirements 910+ years of relevant experience in electrical design, modeling, or simulation. Strong fundamentals in power systems, power electronics, electrical machines, control systems, circuit analysis, or instrumentation. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: MATLAB/Simulink ETAP DIgSILENT PowerFactory PSCAD LTspice / PSpice KiCad / Altium Designer / AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN COMSOL / Ansys Maxwell Python or MATLAB scripting Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (PhD is a plus). Experience with leading engineering, energy, semiconductor, automotive, or industrial automation companies. Engagement Details Remote Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Commitment: 20–40 hours/week Overlap: Minimum 4 hours PST Start: Immediate / Next Week
