Role Overview: You will be a Power Electronics Domain Expert responsible for designing and evaluating advanced PCB systems for various power circuit applications. This role will require your expertise in hands-on PCB design and the opportunity to influence evaluation frameworks for intelligent design systems, impacting the convergence of hardware and AI. Key Responsibilities: - Design diverse power electronic circuits such as DC-DC converters, LDOs, AC-DC supplies, and automotive systems - Develop schematics and PCB layouts utilizing tools like KiCad, Altium, or similar software - Select components based on datasheets and specific design requirements - Analyze circuit performance parameters including efficiency, ripple, thermal behavior, and reliability - Implement PCB best practices encompassing grounding, routing, EMI, and DFM considerations - Generate essential manufacturing outputs such as BOM, Gerber files, and pick-and-place data - Validate designs through simulations, calculations, and DRC checks - Establish structured evaluation frameworks covering specification validation, component compliance, and PCB evaluation standards - Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance design processes Qualifications Required: - Proficient in designing power electronic circuits and PCB layouts - Familiarity with tools like KiCad, Altium, or similar software - Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and validation of designs - Knowledge of PCB best practices including grounding, routing, EMI, and DFM - Experience in component selection based on datasheets and design requirements - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment Additional Company Details: Turing, based in San Francisco, California, is a renowned research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems.
