As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI by leveraging your analytical and computational skills. Your primary responsibilities will include designing challenging scientific problems, developing innovative computational solutions, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the work produced. Key Responsibilities: - Design original research-grade scientific problems and define problem categories with appropriate difficulty levels. - Develop elegant computational solutions using Python programming. - Conduct rigorous reviews to ensure the accuracy and reliability of both problems and solutions. - Collaborate effectively with reviewers and team leads to enhance the overall quality of work. Qualifications Required: - PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Math (Numerical linear algebra and Computational mechanics). - Published at least 1 peer-reviewed paper. - Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding. - Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration. There is also potential for contract extension based on performance and project requirements. Please note the commitment required for this role: - 40 hours per week with 4 hours of PST overlap. - Contractor assignment/freelancer engagement type with no medical or paid leave benefits. - Duration of the contract is 8 weeks, with an expected start date next week.
