Senior Integration Engineer

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise integrations between a modern SaaS platform and customer systems. You will own integrations end-to-end, from SAP-side customizations and ERP connectivity to iPaaS orchestration and platform API consumption. Your role will involve working directly with customer technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure data exchanges across SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications, while supporting onboarding initiatives and troubleshooting production environments. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver production SAP integrations with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience. - Utilize strong ABAP development expertise, including BAdIs, User Exits, Function Modules, IDoc Extensions, Custom OData Services, and maintainable ABAP development within SE80. - Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP Basis and integration administration, including RFC Destinations, SAP Gateway, SICF, STMS, Authorization Objects, SAP Cloud Connector, and SAP BTP Destinations. - Utilize experience with SAP integration technologies such as OData (v2 and v4), IDoc/ALE, BAPI/RFC, and SAP Event Mesh/Advanced Event Mesh. - Have hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms, preferably Workato. - Show proficiency in at least one scripting language: JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. - Design and implement bidirectional integrations between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems. - Lead customer onboarding activities, including integration discovery, data validation, customization scoping, and production cutovers. - Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across SAP logs, RFC traces, iPaaS workflows, and platform event streams. - Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with customer SAP Basis, integration, and business teams.
