VDC Detailer - Drywall (Bay Area)

Position Description: Manage Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Business Information Modeling (BIM) detailing workflows on single, multiple, and/or complex projects in collaboration with engineers and Trade subcontractors. Assess and manage quality control for 2D documentation and 3D models for efficiency and accuracy. Essential Duties Key Responsibilities: Manage Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Business Information Modeling (BIM) detailing workflows for single, multiple, and/or complex projects adhering to timely and accurate deliverables. Collaborate closely with VDC team, field engineering team, project managers, and Trade subcontractors to execute detailed modeling solutions. Participate in and contribute VDC BIM detailing expertise to Trade coordination meetings to help review and resolve multi-disciplinary conflicts. Oversee work and deliverables of VDC BIM team members and provide feedback and technical guidance of BIM models. Contribute to development and implementation of project-specific BIM strategies, develop scope and process, anticipate challenges, risks, and opportunities, and communicate strategy to project team. Contribute to continuous improvement and development of VDC BIM standards and workflow activities for deliverables. Develop advanced expertise in multiple VDC BIM platforms. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
