Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: o Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures. o Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. o Implement SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and security. o Deploy SDN solutions to automate network operations and improve scalability. Network Security: o Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures. o Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices. o Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits. o Respond to security incidents and threats. Network Operations: o Monitor network performance and proactively address issues. o Perform network upgrades, migrations, and patching. o Document network configurations and procedures. o Provide technical support to end-users. o Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills and Experience: Good hands-on experience in network engineering. Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls). Deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies. Experience with SD-WAN and SDN technologies. Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute). Understanding of network automation tools (Ansible, Python). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are preferred.
