AI Architect

As an AI Architect at our company located in Guindy, Chennai, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: - Designing end-to-end AI/ML systems including LLMs, GenAI, NLP, and vision. - Selecting and justifying the platform stack such as cloud, MLOps tools, and vector DBs. - Ensuring AI components integrate smoothly with the enterprise landscape. - Leading RFP/RFI responses, crafting solution narratives, and engaging with clients during discovery and deal pursuit. - Owning the PoC to validate feasibility before a deal is finalized. - Defining AI MLOps standards, model lifecycle policies, bias/fairness frameworks, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations. - Building roadmaps, mentoring technical teams, and acting as a translator between technical depth and executive understanding. - Conducting architecture reviews, design authority sessions, and milestone gate reviews for large transformation programs. - Developing an AI-ready data roadmap framework enabling progress from raw data to ML, GenAI, and LLM production systems. - Mentoring and growing a team of data architects and engineers. - Representing the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences. - Staying ahead of industry trends and recommending adoption strategies for new tools and platforms. Key Responsibilities: - 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, and analytics. - Track record of winning and delivering large-scale Data & AI engagements. - Experience with AI/ML platforms such as MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc. - Deep hands-on expertise in at least two major cloud data platforms. - Expert-level knowledge of Apache Spark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Iceberg. - Experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. - Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or equivalent Azure / AWS / GCP data certification. - Background in manufacturing, financial services, or retail data modernization experience. - Exposure to DataOps / MLOps practices. - Published articles, patents, conference talks, or open-source contributions in the data / AI domain.
