Conversion Engineer

Description Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute procedures to convert client data in various environments (i.e. SQL) Learn, use, and maintain an established set of internal tools and other technologies as necessary Collaborate with implementation staff and clients to develop data conversion procedures that meet client business rules Perform in-depth data analysis to identify data patterns and anomalies Perform intermediate troubleshooting of conversion logic Perform data verification and balancing of values between old and new systems Stay current with technologies and current database concepts Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or relevant equivalent to work experience Ability to work well within a deadline-oriented development structure Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment Strong technical abilities and desire to learn new things Strong attention to detail and analytic thinking skills Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and customer service Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL Ability to work in Windows and work with all our remote access tools Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of database structures: how to create databases, import and export data in and out of a database (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
