About the role
Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer for a major cogeneration power plant project in Jubail. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on commissioning experience in combined cycle or cogeneration power plants. Key Responsibilities: Execute and supervise commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems in the power plant. Perform loop checking, functional testing, and system validation for I&C equipment. Review P&IDs, control logic diagrams, and engineering documents to ensure compliance during commissioning. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams for smooth commissioning execution. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DCS, PLC, field instruments, and control systems. Ensure all commissioning activities follow project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and documentation. Participate in pre-commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10+ years of experience in commissioning power plants. Strong hands-on experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants or Cogeneration Power Plants Expertise in DCS/PLC systems, field instrumentation, and control systems. Good understanding of power plant processes and systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a multicultural project environment. Preferred: Previous experience in large-scale EPC power projects. Experience in Middle East projects is an added advantage
