JOB Description Senior Systems Administrator Application Support & Endpoint Infrastructure Department - Information Technology (IT Infrastructure & Operations) Reports To Sr. IT Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise infrastructure, endpoint security solutions, and critical IT applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint Protection/Antivirus, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Windows Server administration, and endpoint support. The role requires hands-on experience in maintaining secure, reliable, and highly available IT systems while providing Level 2/Level 3 technical support for desktops, laptops, and enterprise applications. The candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills, strong security awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Administration Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and File & Print services. Perform server installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management. Monitor server health, capacity, performance, and availability. Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures. Maintain server documentation, configurations, and asset inventory. Endpoint Management (MDM) Administer enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. Configure enrolment policies for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. Manage device compliance, application deployment, and security policies. Troubleshoot endpoint enrollment and synchronization issues. Support remote device provisioning and lifecycle management. Implement endpoint security baselines and compliance standards. Endpoint Security & Antivirus Administer enterprise antivirus and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms. Monitor malware alerts and coordinate incident response activities. Investigate endpoint security events. Perform malware remediation and root cause analysis. Ensure endpoint protection policies are enforced across the organization. Coordinate regular security updates and signature deployments. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Manage enterprise DLP solutions. Develop and maintain DLP policies. Monitor DLP alerts and investigate potential data leakage incidents. Work with business teams to minimize false positives. Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance. Generate DLP compliance and audit reports. Privileged Access Management (PAM) Administer Privileged Access Management solutions. Manage privileged account onboarding and lifecycle. Configure password vaulting and credential rotation. Monitor privileged session activities. Support privileged access audits. Ensure privileged accounts comply with organizational security standards. Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) Monitor SIEM dashboards and security alerts. Investigate suspicious events and coordinate with the cybersecurity team. Create and maintain correlation rules. Assist in log source onboarding. Generate security and compliance reports. Participate in incident response and root cause investigations. Desktop & Laptop Support Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for desktops and laptops. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems. Deploy enterprise applications. Resolve printer, network, VPN, and peripheral issues. Support remote users. Perform endpoint imaging and deployment. Coordinate warranty repairs and hardware replacements. Maintain endpoint inventory and asset records. Patch & Vulnerability Management Plan and execute operating system and application patching. Coordinate monthly patch cycles. Validate successful deployments. Remediate vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with security baselines. User & Access Administration Create and manage user accounts. Provision and deprovision system access. Manage Active Directory groups and permissions. Implement least privilege access principles. Support identity and access management processes. Documentation & Compliance Maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation. Document configurations and change records. Participate in IT audits. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC, and organizational security policies. Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. Required Technical Skills Operating Systems Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Windows 10 & Windows 11 Basic Linux administration (preferred) Sophos Antivirus MDM (Scalefusion) PAM (Arcon) DLP (Trellix) SIEM ( FortiSIEM) Security Technologies Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Sophos Windows Technologies Active Directory Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Group Policy DNS DHCP DFS File Servers Print Servers WSUS Cloud Platforms (Preferred) Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 Administration Exchange Online SharePoint Online Scripting (Preferred) PowerShell Batch Scripting Basic Python (preferred) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or any Graduate. 4 to 6 years of experience in System Administration and Enterprise Application Support. Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise security solutions and applications. Experience managing enterprise endpoint environments with 2,000+ devices is preferred. Experience working in ITIL-based environments. Preferred Certifications Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate ITIL Foundation CompTIA Security+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
