Software Engineer Agency Trading Java FullStack

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Java Developer at UBS, you will play a vital role in designing current and future banking technology. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing front office Trading products, delivering new components and products, working in an agile pod, conducting code reviews, testing software, participating in application architecture and design, contributing to building automated tests, and building close working relationships with the business and support teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop existing front office Trading products - Be involved in the delivery of new components and products from Alpha, Beta through to production phases - Work in an agile pod with the business product owner and other senior technologists - Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture, design, and other agile practices - Contribute to building automated unit and integration tests - Be an integral part of a high energy front office environment Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field - Extensive experience in Core Java - Hands-on experience with data structures, algorithms, frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST APIs - Experience in writing various kinds of tests unit / integration / behavior / acceptance - Hands-on experience in RDBMS eg. Oracle/PostgreSQL - 2 years previous experience working on React.js library - Good knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML - Knowledge of React tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux, and React Hooks - Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Enzyme and Jest - Experience with git source control and continuous integration, gitlab ci/cd being an advantage - Experience with development on a Unix and/or Linux environment - Azure Cloud Knowledge is an added advantage Additional Company Details: At UBS, you will be working in the Voice Crew in the Agency Trading Stream in Mumbai.
