Head of Engineering Delivery

Job Description About The Role We are looking for an experienced Head Of Engineering Delivery to lead engineering execution, delivery excellence, and process maturity across multiple product teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, extensive experience in B2B SaaS product companies, and a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams while ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery. This role requires a leader who has evolved from a Software Engineer or Technical Lead into engineering management and has successfully built scalable engineering processesnot just managed existing ones. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end engineering delivery across multiple product teams. Drive Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.Plan and manage sprint execution, release cycles, and engineering roadmaps.Perform capacity planning, resource allocation, and dependency management.Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.Define and monitor engineering KPIs and delivery metrics.Establish and continuously improve engineering processes, governance, and best practices.Own Jira workflows, project governance, dashboards, and reporting.Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and cross-functional coordination.Coach and mentor Engineering Managers, Team Leads, and engineering teams to improve productivity and delivery quality.Resolve cross-team conflicts and remove execution blockers.Support CI/CD practices, release management, and engineering operational excellence. Required Qualifications - 1218 years of experience in software engineering and engineering delivery. Mandatory experience in a B2B SaaS Product Company.Must have started their career as a Software Engineer or Technical Lead.Proven experience managing 30100 engineers across multiple teams.Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering processes and delivery frameworks.Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.Hands-on expertise with Jira administration, workflows, dashboards, and governance.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevOps fundamentals.Strong collaboration experience with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and Engineering stakeholders.
