Sr. Full Stack Developer

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer (Python) to build and scale a distributed, event-driven backend platform. This role is backend-first and systems-focused, with ownership over microservices, data pipelines, and production reliability. Frontend (React/UI) experience is good to have but not mandatory. This is not a frontend-heavy role. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and own scalable microservices using Python.Build high-performance, production-grade APIs using Django, DRF, FastAPI, or Django Ninja.Implement and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka.Handle asynchronous processing using Celery.Optimise database and search performance using PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.Deploy, manage, and scale services using Kubernetes.Ensure system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance in production.Lead architectural decisions and drive backend best practices.Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.Collaborate with product, data, and infra teams in an agile environment. Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in Python.Strong hands-on experience with Django/DRF and FastAPI.Proven experience building distributed microservices architectures.Kafka, real production experience with event streaming.Kubernetes hands-on experience deploying and operating services.Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL.Experience with Elasticsearch for indexing and search.Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability.
