Sr Software Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain code for software applications Maintain SQL Server database schemas, tables, and relationships to support application requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integrations between learning platforms and other UKG systems. Participate in regular stand-up meetings, code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and contribute to testing efforts, including unit tests and automated test suites as applicable. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments with guidance from senior engineers. Provide level 2 troubleshooting and support for both internal and customer-facing learning systems and tools, ensuring reliable and seamless learning experiences for all users. Create and maintain clear, accurate, and organized technical documentation for code and processes to support team knowledge sharing and operational readiness. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Experience building and supporting software applications in a collaborative team environment Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for software application development Experience with SQL Server and designing relational databases Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Understanding of secure coding practices and basic cloud concepts Ability to adapt to change, and adjust priorities as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
