About the role
Job opening for Senior SQL Engineer position. Duties: Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases Design and implement efficient database structures and schemas Create and maintain Metabase dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling to identify patterns, trends, and insights Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SQL development, metabase visualization, and statistical analysis Implement ETL processes. Desired Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field Proven experience as a SQL Developer with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance 4+year of experience with Postgres Experience with statistical analysis techniques and tools Familiar with ETL tools and processes Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS Redshift preferred Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
