Software Development Engineer

You will be involved in the full software development life cycle within broadly defined parameters and provide software solutions while considering software quality needs. Your responsibilities will include designing and defining the interaction between different component pieces, writing efficient code based on briefs provided by team leads, and fast prototyping proof-of-concept features or applications based on briefs. Additionally, you will develop and maintain new features on the Java stack, own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, and manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments. You will work closely with peers and leads to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development. Moreover, you will build software solutions for complex problems and ensure compliance with build/release and configuration management processes. It will be your responsibility to develop unit test cases for your project module and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies, and processes for development activities in alignment with business and project management efforts. Qualifications Required: - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, hands-on knowledge on Java stack (Spring/Hibernate) - Experience in development across multiple browsers/platforms on websites - Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL data stores and understanding of Responsive High-Level Designs - Work experience in product/start-up companies is a plus - Familiarity with MVC, SOA, RESTful web services - Ability to work with other teams, manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment - Knowledge of Javascript (AngularJS/ReactJS), HTML, CSS, jQuery front-end code across a broad array of interactive web - Understanding of agile methodology and ability to instill best practices into the process You will be involved in the full software development life cycle within broadly defined parameters and provide software solutions while considering software quality needs.
