SQL Database Developer

As a Database Developer at Heckyl in Mumbai, your role involves designing and programming databases to enhance existing features and support new initiatives. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients to configure infrastructure for deploying Heckyl applications, ensuring customized features as per contract requirements, and maintaining system, server, and application security. Key Responsibilities: - Design and program databases for Heckyl applications - Coordinate with clients to configure infrastructure for application deployment - Deploy and configure database components at client end - Monitor system health and optimize performance - Provide technical support to end-users on database and software-related issues - Support company's Application, Database, and Infrastructure Architecture - Plan and implement backup and recovery of databases - Manage database consolidations and ensure system storage availability - Set up and deploy HA Solutions Qualifications Required: Must Have: - Understanding of RDBMS Basics - 3+ years' experience with strong knowledge of SQL database - Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) - Exposure to SSIS or other ETL tools Nice-to-have: - Good working knowledge of MS-Excel - Exposure to Application & Database Design - Hands-on Experience in a Product Company - Brokerage and/or Financial Industry exposure - Exposure to Mutual Funds Trading application This job at Heckyl offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of database systems, ensuring optimal performance and security for clients in the financial industry.
