Job Description: Liferay Senior Developer Position: Senior Software Developer – Liferay DXP Experience: Minimum 4 years in Liferay DXP) Location: Mumbai Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, customize, and implement enterprise-scale digital experience solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Liferay DXP (7.4.x+) , with proven experience in building portals, WCM, and DMS solutions for large organizations, preferably in government or public sector IT projects. Key Responsibilities Customize and extend Liferay DXP components (themes, layouts, hooks, portlets, modules). Integrate with external systems via RESTful/SOAP APIs and GraphQL. Develop front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular (10+) or React. Build back-end services with Java 8+, Spring Boot, J2EE, Hibernate, OSGi. Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB). Implement CI/CD pipelines with Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Ensure code quality through JUnit, Selenium, SonarQube, and maintain best practices in version control (Git). Required Skills 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Liferay DXP (7.4.x+). Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate. Expertise in SQL/database design and web services integration. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred: Liferay Developer Certification.
