Location :- Pune (Baner) Work mode :- 5 Days work from office. Role Purpose We are looking for a pragmatic, detail-oriented eCommerce Web Developer. While not a heavy backend Full-Stack role, this position requires a highly capable developer to own the day-to-day maintenance, theme/plugin edits, custom API development, and performance optimization across our eCommerce platforms. You will bridge the gap between user experience and platform functionality, ensuring our sites are reliable, lightning-quick, and visually flawless. Scope & Responsibilities - Front-End & UX Maintenance (Core Web Vitals): Own BAU (Business As Usual) updates and defect fixes. Take a proactive role in monitoring and improving Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP); optimize asset delivery, caching, and DOM structures to ensure a seamless, high-performance customer journey across all devices. - API Development & Integrations: Go beyond just maintaining connections; actively design, build, and secure custom RESTful API endpoints. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data flow issues with third-party feeds and external enterprise system integrations (e.g., ERP/CRM). - Theme & Plugin Management: Edit, update, and maintain custom themes and extensions across our CMS frameworks (e.g., WordPress). Ensure strict compatibility with core platform updates and regularly refactor code to reduce technical debt. - Version Control & Release Management: Actively manage code using Bitbucket. Strictly follow Git-based workflows including branching strategies, creating and reviewing Pull Requests (PRs), and utilizing dev/ .
