Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics

As an Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics at United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of United Airlines Inc., you will play a crucial role in executing reporting for the Supply Chain organization. Your responsibilities will include inventory planning, vendor management, components and engines shops, warehousing, and logistics functions. You will work on developing dashboards, periodical and ad-hoc reports, and presentation decks to communicate Supply Chain performance metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain Python-driven analytics solutions for Supply Chain performance metrics communication - Apply basic statistical and predictive modeling techniques to support supply chain performance monitoring and forecasting - Utilize SQL to manipulate relational databases and leverage tools like TIBCO Spotfire or PowerBI for building robust reporting solutions - Collaborate closely with other Supply Chain teams to ensure data consistency and solve complex business problems Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, operations research, finance, or engineering - 5+ years of experience in an analytics or process improvement-oriented role - Proficiency in Python for data analysis and SQL for data manipulation - Experience in building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, or MS PowerBI - Proficient in MS-Office tools - Organized, self-motivated, and able to work under time constraints - Legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship - Fluent in English (written and spoken) - Successful completion of the interview process Preferred Qualifications: - Experience applying predictive analytics or machine learning to real-world business problems - Experience automating analytics workflows using Python scripting - Experience in operations research, engineering, or related field involving solving complex business problems - Experience developing executive-level presentations - Familiarity with the airline industry Please note that this position is offered on local terms and conditions, and expatriate assignments or sponsorship for employment visas will not be provided.
