Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure theyre well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Job overview and responsibilities Associate analyst will work to enable better decision making across GX-FX. The work will involve working on huge volumes of data coming from the GX-FX team's various systems (e.g. Fleet Focus, telemetry devices, Coupa, PlanPlus, Oracle ERP, etc.) and use this information to drive decision making. Will be responsible for working on analysis projects with deliverables for various stakeholders across organization Extract data from a variety of sources to assist in building operational dashboards and reportsCurate tables and views that serve as the "single source of truth" for United's Tech Ops dataAutomate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughput Performs ad-hoc data mining and analysis as requiredProactively experiments with new tools, including emerging or role-specific AI solutions, while being aware of their practical limitations, including accuracy, data confidentiality/privacy, bias, and the need for human judgmentThis position is offered on local terms and conditions. QualificationsWhats needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business analytics, finance, supply chain1 2 years related experienceDeep understanding of data structures, relationships, and efficient transformationsExperience leveraging AI tools such as GPT, Copilot, Claude, or Google Gemini in academic, internship, or professional projects is preferred where relevant to data analysis or productivity needs of the role.Familiarity with all parts of the data ecosystem -- acquisition, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deploymentKnowledge and application of data visualization best practicesMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Master's degree Airline experience or knowledge of airline operations/fleet management preferred Achieving our goals starts with supporting yours.
