Manager - Operations Strategy & Analytics

Role Overview: You have a career opportunity to join the AO Business Strategy & Analytics team, where you will be responsible for equipping NOC and Airport Operations leaders with dynamic, data-driven insights. Your role involves diving deep into operational drivers through analyses, providing thought leadership, and supporting senior executives to drive change and make a real impact in a challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design innovative solutions using data analysis, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to address various business challenges across teams. - Champion the development and adoption of integrated data solutions connecting operational data with broader enterprise datasets. - Lead the analysis of large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights for refining AO/NOC strategies and tactics. - Provide analytical and program management support to stakeholders focusing on long-term strategic plans for enhancing operational readiness and performance management. - Establish and maintain robust data governance and documentation standards for accurate and sustainable operational datasets, analytical models, and reporting tools. - Translate business requirements into actionable insights through root cause analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques to optimize areas such as reliability, planning, and execution. - Communicate updates and outcomes through easy-to-interpret visualizations and practical recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences. - Facilitate status meetings, maintain communication with stakeholders and senior leadership, and ensure alignment and transparency in initiatives. - Enhance team productivity by managing employee bandwidth, prioritization, and mentoring direct reports for their professional growth. - Oversee the management of direct and dotted-line reports, conduct performance reviews, and foster knowledge sharing and development through coaching. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. - Minimum of 6 years of analytics experience with leadership capabilities. - Experience in designing data/technology solutions, automating reports, and creating complex queries. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scripting languages like Python and R, reporting tools like Tableau, and statistical analysis techniques. - Strong communication skills and experience in managing and mentoring a team. - Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, capability in designing operational metrics, developing machine learning models, and strong people management skills.
