Primary Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementDesign and maintain robust data architectures, including databases and data warehousesOversee the development and optimization of data pipelines for efficient data processingImplement measures to ensure data integrity, including validation, cleansing, and governance practicesWork closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutionsAnalyze, synthesize, and interpret data from a variety of data sources, investigating, reconciling and explaining data differences to understand the complete data lifecycleArchitecting with modern technology stack and Designing Public Cloud Application leveraging in AzureBasic, structured, standard approach to workBe able to leverage Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance software development efficiency, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery timelinesComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience6+ years of Implementation experience on time-critical production projects following key software development practices6+ years of programming experience in Python or any programming language4+ years of hands-on programming experience in Spark using scala/python2+ years of hands-on working experience with Azure services like:Azure DatabricksAzure Data FactoryAzure FunctionsAzure App ServiceDemonstrated experience in integrating Gen AI capabilities into development workflows for tasks such as code generation, documentation, testing, and debuggingGood knowledge in writing SQL queriesGood knowledge in building REST API'sGood knowledge of tools like Azure Dev Ops & GithubGood knowledge of Generative AI tools such as GitHub CopilotFamiliarity with emerging AI-assisted development practices and a proactive approach to adopting innovative technologiesProven ability to understand the existing application codebase, perform impact analysis and update the code when required based on the business logic or for optimizationProven ability to learn modern technologies and be part of fast paced teamsProven excellent analytical and communication skills (Both Verbal and Written) At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
