Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and secure web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and TypeScriptBuild and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, and related technologiesCollaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services across Azure, AWS, and GCP environmentsImplement secure coding practices, performance optimization, and scalability standards to ensure enterprise-grade application deliveryParticipate in architecture reviews, code reviews, design discussions, and technical solutioning sessionsSupport CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, containerization technologies, and automated deployment practicesTroubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution across development, testing, and production environmentsPartner with Quality Engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases through unit testing, integration testing, and defect remediationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting emerging technologies, engineering best practices, and AI-enabled development toolsMentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of experience in full stack application developmentExperience with modern front-end frameworks including React, Angular, and responsive web developmentExperience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience working in Agile delivery models and collaborating with distributed teamsHands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practicesSolid experience in Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend developmentSolid proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScriptSolid understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and performance optimizationKnowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and secure coding standardsProven solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualification: Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications, automation frameworks, or healthcare technology solutions At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
