Production Engineer

Production Engineer Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2-4 Years Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review BOM (Bill of Materials) based on approved drawings and project requirements. Verify material indents and coordinate with Purchase for procurement activities. Track material status and ensure timely availability for production. Coordinate with Design, Production, QA/QC, Stores, Purchase, and Project teams. Monitor fabrication progress and ensure adherence to project schedules. Prepare and maintain project trackers, material reconciliation, and progress reports. Coordinate dispatch schedules and resolve material-related issues. Interface with customers regarding drawing approvals, material status, inspection schedules, and project progress. Ensure smooth communication between factory and customer for timely execution of projects. Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing activities. Follow up on bought-out items and subcontracting activities. Support preparation of manufacturing dossiers and project documentation. Skills Required: Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, BOM preparation, and material planning. Ability to read GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and P&IDs. Good understanding of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and process equipment. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and project tracking tools. Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Experience: ASME/API Equipment Manufacturing. Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Storage Tanks, Evaporators, and Skid Packages.
