Senior Software Engineer Team Lead Mendix

About the Role Role is part of the Governance team managing enterprise-level capabilities such as software composition, license usage, and cloud monitoring. Hybrid work model; expected to work 1–2 days per week from the Pune office. Involves working on internal tools as well as critical customer-facing components. Approximately 20% of the role involves working directly with the Mendix low-code platform. Key Responsibilities Ensure smooth, secure, and scalable operation of platform services. Solve technical challenges with innovative solutions. Collaborate with other teams across Mendix to build cohesive systems. Emphasize customer needs and high quality in all deliverables. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 7 years of software development experience in Java. Experience or interest in Python and Go. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker. Familiar with microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, and production ownership. Comfortable with scalable, reliable, and maintainable system design. Preferred Skills and Traits Knowledge of or willingness to learn low-code tools (Mendix). Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Effective communicator and collaborative team player. Ownership-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive. Capable of balancing experimentation with pragmatic engineering.
