The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Analyst to join Project Services which is part of the Information Services Group (ISG). We are an established specialist team of dynamic and friendly project and programme delivery professionals supporting IT and business change at the University. Our projects improve business efficiency, enhance student experience, maintain IT compliance and enable digital transformation.

This post is fixed term, available until the end of July 2028, and has a hybrid working pattern, involving working on campus one to two days a week and when necessary for in-person meetings and activities. Working hours are ideally 35 hours per week, but we will consider flexible working requests. The role reports to one of our Team Managers.

About the Team

The Applications Directorate develops, implements and supports IT to meet the complex and demanding needs of the University’s staff and students. The directorate works with a wide range of colleagues in research, teaching and support groups to turn their requirements into effective solutions and this includes work such as developing web applications and integrated workflows for complex business processes. It is also involved in the procurement and implementation of package solutions.
