About the role
As an Engineering Leader at our company, your primary responsibilities will include: - Defining overarching software architecture and long-term technology roadmaps. - Establishing and enforcing strict coding, testing, cybersecurity, and deployment standards. - Conducting formal architecture, design, and code reviews. - Driving engineering excellence, continuous integration, and technical innovation across all products. You will also be responsible for: - Owning the end-to-end software development lifecycle from initial Requirement Analysis and System Design to Development, Code Review, Testing, Deployment, and Lifecycle Maintenance. - Ensuring all software products hit benchmark targets for functional performance, data security, and operational reliability standards. In addition, you will oversee the development of specialized systems including Real-Time Systems, Embedded Software, Simulation Software, Tactical Systems, Command & Control Systems, UAV Software, and bespoke Defence Applications. You will apply robust methodologies for Secure Software Development, Cybersecurity Standards, Safety-Critical Systems, and Mission-Critical Applications. Your role will also involve leading the architectural design and deployment of diverse software ecosystems, encompassing Enterprise Applications, Embedded Systems, Desktop Applications, Web Applications, Cloud Solutions, and AI/ML Solutions. Moreover, you will manage multiple software programs simultaneously while effectively monitoring delivery schedules, engineering resources, and budgets. You will identify, monitor, and mitigate project-level technical risks to ensure strict milestone adherence. As a part of your responsibilities, you will lead a multidisciplinary team comprising Software Architects, Technical Leads, Full Stack Developers, Embedded Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and UI/UX Engineers. You will manage end-to-end talent operations including hiring, technical mentoring, performance management, and organizational succession planning. Required Technical Skills: - Languages: C, C++, C#, Python. - Algorithm Development, ML, AI, Sensor Fusion, Object Detection, Computer vision, User Experience, Image Processing, Video Processing, UI. - Deep understanding of RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems). - Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD Pipelines.
