About the role
Job Description: As a Data Engineer for Citi's client, you will be responsible for developing high-quality data products to support regulatory requirements and data-driven decision-making. Your role will involve working closely with customers, removing or escalating roadblocks, and contributing to business outcomes on an agile team by applying your knowledge of data architecture standards, data warehousing, data structures, and business intelligence. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and supporting scalable, extensible, and highly available data solutions - Delivering on critical business priorities while ensuring alignment with the wider architectural vision - Identifying and addressing potential risks in the data supply chain - Following and contributing to technical standards - Designing and developing analytical data models Qualifications Required: - Scala, Spark/Pyspark is a must, along with expertise in Hadoop (BIG Data) and AWS, Databricks - 8 to 11 years of experience implementing data-intensive solutions using agile methodologies - Proficiency in relational databases and using SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation - Experience in modeling data for analytical consumers - Ability to automate and streamline the build, test, and deployment of data pipelines - Proficient in cloud-native technologies and patterns - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Inclination to mentor, lead, and deliver medium-sized components independently Additional Company Details: Uplers' goal is to make hiring reliable, simple, and fast.
