Job Description: As a Data Scientist at Visa, you will be part of the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) Data Science team in Asia Pacific, embedded at the client office in Bangalore. Your role will involve executing and delivering data analytics projects for Visa clients, driving credit card portfolio strategies using various data sources, and acting as an analytics advocate within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Execute and deliver data analytics projects for Visa clients - Drive credit card portfolio strategies using client data and/or other sources - Act as an analytics advocate, advising teams and sharing best practices - Challenge assumptions and explore new data sources, methodologies, and tools - Interact with clients and manage stakeholder communication effectively Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree - Degree in a Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent - Experience in credit cards and/or retail banking analytics - Hands-on experience with data analytics/programming tools such as SAS, Hadoop, R, SQL, Python, Hive - Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills - Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data storytelling - Self-motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently About Visa Consulting & Analytics: Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, focused on improving performance and profitability for Visa's clients.
