Junior Application Engineer

You will be working as a Junior Application Engineer at Vecmocon Technologies, an IIT Delhi-incubated deep-tech EV startup focused on smart solutions for India's electric mobility ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of BMS solutions for customer programs, involving application development, configuration, integration, validation, debugging, and field support. Your primary tasks will include: - Owning BMS application integration and deployment for customer programs through various stages from development to field support. - Developing, configuring, tuning, and validating Simulink-based BMS applications. - Managing and mentoring a team of Solution/Application Engineers for effective task planning and delivery. - Acting as the primary technical interface with customers, leading integration discussions, managing expectations, and providing technical updates. - Supporting vehicle-level integration, including CAN communication, diagnostics, and system bring-up. - Analyzing logs, CAN traces, and test data for structured root-cause analysis. - Translating customer requirements into technical inputs for internal teams. - Coordinating with different teams to resolve issues end-to-end. - Supporting customer trials/pilots and handling field escalations with clear ownership and communication. - Ensuring solution stability through validation and quality checks. You must possess strong skills in embedded systems, MATLAB/Simulink, model-based development, BMS fundamentals, CAN communication, RCA capability, customer-facing communication, team leadership, and EV architecture understanding.
