About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining Caterpillar Inc., a global team focused on creating a better world through innovation and collaboration. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end technical delivery of .NET-based solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices across development teams. - Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs. - Guide the integration of .NET applications with Dynamics 365, Azure Functions, and other enterprise platforms. - Mentor and coach developers, conduct code reviews, and support skill development across the team. - Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and deployment strategies. - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic solutions to improve system reliability and performance. - Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teams. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. - Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development. - Strong experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, and cloud-native design. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex software projects on time and within scope. - Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise integration strategies. - Experience with SQL Server and performance optimization of database queries. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
