About the role
QA Engineer Experience: 1 - 4 Years Exp Shift : 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST Opportunity Type: Office (Bengaluru) Placement Type: Permanent (*Appium OR Selenium and TestNG QA Engineer who is passionate about their work, eager to learn and grow, and who is committed to delivering exceptional results. We are looking for a QA Engineer (Contract) with at least 1 year of experience in testing desktop applications (preferably Electron-based on macOS). You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of our Electron app, ensuring stability, usability, and smooth integration with macOS system features. Execute test cases for macOS Electron apps, covering installation, uninstallation, functional flows, and UI. Perform manual testing across different macOS versions (Sonoma, Ventura, Monterey) and hardware (Intel & Apple Silicon). Validate system-level integrations (permissions, notifications, dock, file dialogs). Assist in automation testing using Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium for desktop. 1+ of QA experience, with exposure to desktop or web applications. Familiarity with macOS environment (app installation, system preferences, permissions).Hands-on experience with manual functional/UI testing.Comfort with command-line tools (bash/zsh) for log collection and simple scripts.Great opportunity to specialize in macOS desktop QA while learning automation.
