About the role
In this role as a Senior Frontend Engineer in the ECS team at Experian, you will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, Business, and UX to enhance the membership experience on the D2C website by delivering new functionalities. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing industry-leading web frameworks and technologies in a high-performance micro-frontend solution - Prototyping, developing, testing, and integrating best-in-class responsive web components - Working independently, offering insights and analysis on an existing codebase - Code peer review with other engineers to ensure software engineering best practices - Integrating with RESTful web services in the AWS cloud from multi-tiered web applications - Optimizing existing code with engineering best practices - Developing re-usable patterns and encouraging innovation to improve team velocity - Participating in full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions Your background should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor/Masters in computer science or any equivalent fields - 8 to 10 years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design - 4+ years of experience building responsive single-page web applications using Angular or React/Redux - Must have experience using TypeScript with Angular or React - Experience working with web components and Lit is strongly preferred - Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and direction - Strong understanding of unit testing using Jest or similar libraries, along with E2E testing - Experience building software that accounts for security, accessibility, and performance - Experience working with Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS solutions - Use of Git SCM command line and tools required - Behavior-driven design experience preferred - Experience with Agile Methodologies --- Additional Information Experian is a global data and technology company, empowering opportunities for people and businesses worldwide.
