About the role
You are seeking a development team lead with a strong technical background in full-stack client-server development with Microsoft technologies in an enterprise environment. Strong back-end and front-end design and development skills are required, predominantly in C# .NET, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, web services, service oriented/component-based architectures, and microservices. Experience in web client and desktop client technologies like React.JS, TypeScript HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WPF, MVVM is essential. Experience in development for Cloud-based SaaS applications would be advantageous. This role involves leadership and hands-on responsibilities, including line management and technical leadership of a team of software developers. Collaboration within the team and with other disciplines is crucial for successful application delivery. - Providing leadership, functional, and line management of a team of onshore and offshore software developers - Supporting and mentoring software developers to ensure high performance and delivery standards - Promptly and effectively addressing any performance issues to maintain high productivity - Ensuring all development work adheres to NEC quality processes and standards - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and presenting them for approval - Hands-on, full-stack software development within enterprise client-server applications - Participating in architectural design decisions and influencing technologies for current and future products - Engaging in Agile SCRUM development ceremonies, planning, estimation, design, retrospectives, and reviews - Working closely with Business Analysts and the Product Owner to understand development requirements - Adhering to development governance framework, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and guidelines - Keeping development skills updated and staying informed about new industry developments Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10+ years experience in software development for enterprise applications - Proficiency in C# with .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Object-Oriented design, RESTful APIs, web services, and more - Experience in leading complex software developments with a team of at least 10 developers - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services across various sectors, with over 30 years of experience in delivering high-quality software products.
