Job Description - Role: Assistant / Deputy Manager - QA/QC Department: Quality Assurance & Quality Control Job Purpose:To assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control systems atconstruction sites to ensure that all materials and workmanship conform to approveddrawings, specifications, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and company policiesMonitor QA/QC activities on-site, ensuring compliance with the project specifications, applicable codes, and companys quality policies.Inspect all the documents as well as construction activities and materials to ensure compliance with approved standards.Coordinate and witness third-party tests and inspections.Attending the meeting with the clients and management team.Coordinate for the the management review meetings and updating on the actions to be taken.Assist in preparing Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Checklists.Maintain and update QA/QC documentation, records, and reports.Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.Support internal and external audits and help ensure timely closure of audit findings.Conduct quality awareness and training programs for site personnel.Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related issues.Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment. Qualifications and Experience B.E/M.E-Civil10-15 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or infrastructureindustry preferably in high-rise building projects or commercial projects preferred.Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and QMS documentation.Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process control, and quality management systemsKnowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and relevant codes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teamsKnowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality certifications Skills Required:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC-related tools. .
