About the role
As an IT Intern in the IT Support and Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting various IT systems and networks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. - Monitoring and troubleshooting application performance and availability. - Performing network monitoring and basic network issue resolution. - Coordinating with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and service delivery. - Conducting routine system maintenance and performance tuning. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of IT issues. - Managing IT inventory, including asset tracking and tagging. - Documenting incidents, changes, and resolutions in alignment with ITIL practices. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Solid troubleshooting skills. - Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Exposure to operating systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Good communication and coordination abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
