Position: IT GENERALIST II (APPLICATION MANAGEMENT / SUPPORT - MIDDLEWARE) Location: Mc Lean, VA Duration: Fulltime

Job Description: PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS A SHIFT ROLE: Tues - Sat, 5:00AM - 1:30PM ET Qualifications

2+ years of application and infrastructure experience 2+ years of hands on experience with a shell scripting language such as bash or Perl 2+ years of Strong support skills in middleware technologies (WebLogic, Web Methods, Apache, Tomcat, MQ, IIS, etc.) in UNIX and/or Windows environment Basic hands-on knowledge of Java, JEE, JSF, JPA, JSP, Web Services, HTML, XML, JDBC, SQL, OOA and OOD concepts Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience, or be in process of achieving college degree Basic knowledge of or experience with one or more databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) and security (firewall, AD, TAM, LDAP) Basic proficiency with Java-based technologies

Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with Remedy or Service Now Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline Strong decision making and problem solving skills Sound interpersonal and team working skills
