Lead I - Frontend Dev

As a Senior Front End Engineer at UST, you will be responsible for designing and developing responsive, high-performance web applications using React.JS, JavaScript, and modern CSS/UI frameworks. You will collaborate closely with UX and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining responsive web applications using React.JS and JavaScript. - Implementing reusable UI components and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. - Working with CSS, UI kits, and design systems to create visually appealing interfaces. - Collaborating with designers and backend teams to ensure seamless integration. - Optimizing application performance and accessibility. - Writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. - Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues in production environments. - Documenting technical designs. Qualifications required for this role include: - 7+ years of overall software development experience; 5+ years in front-end development. - Strong proficiency in React.JS and JavaScript. - Expertise in CSS, UI frameworks, and responsive design principles. - Familiarity with RESTful API integration. - Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, and modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel). - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred skills for this position include: - Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API). - Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha). - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Basic understanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
